The Entrepreneurship Development Institute (EDI), in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation through the SEED program, has successfully concluded an impactful eight-day Psychosocial Support TOT Training.
This transformative program has equipped 20 individuals with the skills to help others navigate trauma and conflict, turning personal adversity into a powerful force for innovation and economic productivity.
This training program focuses on helping people in challenging situations cope with trauma and build resilience. As our CEO, Hassen Hussien (PhD), highlighted, "A healed mind is a fertile ground for new ideas, and a resilient spirit is the ultimate asset for any entrepreneur." By nurturing personal well-being, we are building a stronger ecosystem where individuals can thrive and contribute meaningfully to their communities.
Participants praised the training's profound impact on both their personal and professional lives, recognizing its potential to create a ripple effect of healing and growth throughout society. Their feedback inspires us to continue expanding the program, reaching more people in more languages, and forging new partnerships to amplify our impact.
This initiative has grown and diversified since it began four years ago to support women returning from Saudi Arabia. We are committed to continuing this vital work, empowering individuals to not only survive but also to succeed.
